    Hope all well. I was hoping to come to one of the last Wednesdays but things clashed. So the July slot is Saturday 29th?

      Hi Liz.
      The send-off gig was a hoot. Louise made a lovely speech and presented me with a whacking great Jereboam dressed up like “the fat lady who sings” (she provided the bra, Nolan provided the oranges), while they played Delibes’ Flower Duet.
      Had a bit of puppeting fun with her, then popped her cork and shared the fizz round for everyone. In glasses of course – didn’t go all Formula One on it.
      Didn’t quote any Milton though, just Hamlet’s last line.
      29th is the next shebang, yup. We’ll have to work around their pre-booked summer commitments, but come autumn the residency will settle to be last Friday every month. Will ponder other things too, once I’ve recharged my Duracells.
      The BTL thing will be the same concept of guest soloist with JLT, just two sets and no jam. Although we might have a few sit-ins here and there, if I’m so minded…
